Jakarta. Employment security agency BPJS Ketenagakerjaan recently held the Kids Go to Office event.
The agency’s children got to visit their parents' workplace to celebrate National Family Day. The Indonesian Child Protection Institute chair Seto Mulyadi, popularly known as Kak Seto, also took part in the event.
BPJS Ketenagakerjaan general director Abdur Rahman Irsyadi, this event, which takes place regularly, seeks to create a more harmonious work environment.
"The children will also get to know more about what their parents do at the office. So they will indirectly learn about the social security protection program from an early age, and what BPJS Ketenagakerjaan is like as well as the programs and benefits,” Abdur Rahman was quoted as saying in a recent press statement.
Not only did the kids tour around the office and get to know the company’s values, but they also learned about the roles and divisions within the company. The children also had dental checks and got to take part in many fun activities. They also held a webinar focusing on the social impact of gadgets on kids.
Kak Seto also welcomed the Kids Go to Office initiative.
"We appreciate the efforts and ideas of the children coming to their parents' offices. This is in line with the National Family Day on June 29. Please help build families that are united, harmonious, with mutual knowledge about where their father is and so on," Kak Seto said.
